Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Hub.Irish. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them. Last updated: 24 June 2026.

1. The service

Hub.Irish is a community platform for discovering Ireland in 3D — castles, lighthouses, heritage buildings, farms, beaches and more — and for sharing experiences with other members through a social feed. The service is provided "as is" and we may improve, change or discontinue features at any time.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • Provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
  • One person, one account. Impersonation is not allowed.

3. Community rules

To keep Hub.Irish welcoming, you agree NOT to post or share content that:

  • Is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit or violent.
  • Infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
  • Contains spam, scams, malware or unsolicited advertising.
  • Misrepresents a location, business, farm or heritage site.
  • Reveals another person's private information without consent.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting on Hub.Irish you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, adapt (for formatting), and distribute your content within the platform and in promotional materials about the platform. You can delete your content at any time, which ends this licence for future use (cached copies may persist briefly).

You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload, including photos of other people.

5. Listings — farms, beaches, heritage sites

Information about third-party places (farms, beaches, lighthouses, castles, opening hours, directions) is provided for guidance only. Always check directly with the operator before visiting. Hub.Irish is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party listings or for what happens on someone else's property.

6. Acceptable use of the platform

  • Do not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer or overload the service.
  • Do not bypass security or access data you are not authorised to see.
  • Do not use the platform for automated bulk posting or commercial messaging without our written consent.

7. Third-party services

The platform integrates with third parties such as Google Maps Platform and Sketchfab. Their content is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for it.

8. Termination

You can stop using Hub.Irish and delete your account at any time from Account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk to the community.

9. Disclaimer & liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hub.Irish is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under Irish consumer law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes will be resolved exclusively by the courts of Ireland, unless mandatory consumer law allows otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new Terms.
